Answering your commonly asked questions
Yes, we offer many different types of artificial grass. Whether you use your garden for sport, a children’s play area, or simply to relax and unwind, there’s an Easigrass product to suit you.
Our artificial grass is made from polyurethane and polyethylene.
*Only Chelsea artificial grass and Easi-pet have Polyurethane as these are our “pet’ grasses.
Easigrass is perforated, so any excess water simply seeps through into the soil underneath.
Static is unlikely to be a problem, but as it’s a result of area conditions, it’s not easy to detect or measure. However, in the majority of cases it will eventually go, so don’t worry. In the winter, it certainly won’t pose a problem as frequent rainfall will ensure the garden is properly earthed.
We have a broad range of artificial grass products to suit a variety of needs. This includes:

The beauty of Easigrass is its quick, simple laying process. A 50 square metre garden can be laid in a single day.
To guarantee the highest quality and finish, we recommend that our artificial grass is installed by our professionally-trained installation teams.
Every garden is different, but the average size of a domestic garden we install is between 50 and 60 square metres.
The Easigrass team is well-skilled at laying our artificial grass over a diverse range of surfaces, including soil, concrete, brick, wood and even plastic. We’ll devise a solution and make the proper preparations to ensure a seamless laying process, tailored to the surface we are laying on.
Take measurements across the longest and widest points of your area. You will then need to round these measurements up to the nearest metre. Next, multiply the width by the length and this will give you your square metre requirement.
Artificial grass is popular because it’s incredibly low maintenance compared to the regular upkeep that natural lawns require. However, to keep it looking its best, artificial grass will require professional cleaning, brushing and sweeping at least once a year. Other than that, all you need to do is keep it clear and rinse off any dirt or stains.
While our Easigrass products are highly durable, there are a few areas where caution should be exercised. When barbecuing, just make sure the areas around the barbecue are protected from falling embers. If you are painting a fence or wall in your garden, pop down a sheet to cover the grass and protect it from splashes. Glue, gum and broken glass are other materials that you’ll also want to keep away from the grass.
If you’ve been unlucky and your artificial lawn is damaged, just call our team who may be able to carry out some patch repairs.
No, not at all. Our artificial grass is fully UV protected, so it retains its lovely lush, green colour, and we also offer an 10 year warranty against fading.
Yes, if you have a lot of traffic running over the top of the artificial grass, it will crush and bend just like real grass. But if you want it upright, all you have to do is brush it against the pile to raise it back up again.
Easigrass is perforated, meaning that any excess rainwater simply slips through into the soil underneath.
In periods of strong sustained sunlight, the artificial grass, being a dark green man-made product, will of course get hot. When this happens, it’s just a simple case of wearing some soft shoes rather than going barefoot. If lying on it, you may well want to place a blanket on top first.
Toddlers might find it uncomfortable when too hot, so they will need to be kept on top of a blanket. The same heat can be experienced on a sunny beach when sand temperatures can rise rapidly when exposed to periods of strong sunlight. It’s also worth noting that the grass is fully UV-protected, so it will not fade.
If you have artificial grass, clearing up after pets is simple. Just pick up the waste and then give the area a quick hose down. Don’t worry about wee as it will drain away, thanks to the in-built perforation.
Absolutely. In fact, Easigrass has a range of products specifically designed to suit pets. If you’re curious, give us a call and a member of our team would be happy to explain the numerous benefits.
Artificial grass makes it much harder for fleas and ticks to live within the blades, although their total elimination cannot be guaranteed. The lack of soil in artificial grass makes it tough for fleas and ticks to nest. All you need to do is keep your artificial lawn free from collecting debris or other organic matter – this way, you reduce the insects’ ability to nest.
No, dog pee does not ruin Easigrass artificial lawns, thanks to its easy-clean ability and excellent drainage. All you need to do is hose down the lawn every now and then, and the water plus pee will be washed away to leave a hygienic lawn.
No, your dog will not be able to damage your new artificial lawn. These grass products are specifically designed for durability, so they are able to withstand your dog’s playtime with no problems. Dogs are also unable to dig through the material below artificial grass, unlike soil.
