Easigrass set to expand international partnership network
Easigrass enthused a busy crowd of landscapers, developers, engineers, architects and facility managers from around the world at the FSB international trade fair in Germany in November. One of the busiest trade shows of its kind – and the largest showcase of artificial grass products in the world – more than 650 companies from 45 countries presented innovations, products and services related to outdoor spaces at the FSB event in Cologne.
Operating one of the most popular trade stands at the show, British brand Easigrass – joined by its representatives from around the world – South Africa, United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands – inspired a great deal of interest throughout the week.
“We are in a prime position to engage in the international market place,” said Easigrass managing director Anthony Gallagher, who met with a host of global industry figures throughout the week. “As usual, there was a multitude of artificial grass manufacturers- some of the biggest in the world. However, Easigrass offers something different for the trade, because we are a complete supply and service provider.”
Anthony is confident of signing more international partners in the coming year to further expand the Easigrass network across the globe. “We reach out and engage with people,” he explains. “They come back to us if they want a ready-made, trusted business model. As a result of the volume we sell across the globe, as a proud British brand, we are in a position to beat the price offered by manufacturers. Providers really see the value of being able to copy and mirror our successful marketing and branding as well.”
The FSB international trade fair for amenity areas, sports and pool facilities takes place in Germany every two years. Exhibitors present the latest technologies for sports facilities and domestic outdoor spaces. Attendees include developers, municipal authorities, facility managers, architects, planners, engineers, landscapers, construction companies and commercial property owners.
Among the successful international partners on the Easigrass stand was the CEO of Van Dyck Flooring, South Africa’s second largest carpet manufacturer, which supplies and installs Easigrass. Van Dyck Flooring has generated 14 Easigrass franchises and grown its volumes by 40 per cent since becoming a partner.
“We were very proud to take part in the event,” says Anthony. “Our partners, including the United Arab Emirates, Holland, Denmark and South Africa are outstanding examples of the business potential of joining the Easigrass Network. We had interest right across the world, including USA, Canada, Singapore and Mexico. The event was also a great opportunity to announce the launch of new ranges specifically designed for the trade. From 2018 Easigrass will supply a specially designed contract range and a landscaper’s range in addition to our existing premier domestic range. We are really excited about the coming year.”
