How our Easibug Was Named Stirling Moss

Have you seen our EasiBug zooming around Glasgow and the West of Scotland, from Ayr to Perth, Oban to Falkirk?

If you have, he looks different from the rest of the EasiBugs in Scotland, Aberdeen and Edinburgh as he has big red lips and most of all, he has a lovely pink and blue badge on the back window from the EILIDH Brown Memorial Fund.

His Name is Stirling Moss and we are very lucky to have this name for him. We got this name as we were lucky to help out with one of the Eilidh Brown Charity Fundraising days in Stirling at the local Sainsburys. It was a great day and over all there was more than £2000 raised for the charity. There was a famous actor singing, cake making, face painting, the fire service with kids jumping in and out of the fire engine, then into our EasiBug, not knowing which was more fun.

Choosing his name

Our wee bit was to have our EasiBug named. So we set up and the game was ‘Name our EasiBug’. It was only £1 donation and some put in up to £10.

There were some great names like ‘Grassiass‘ but the winner taken from the hat was ‘Stirling Moss‘ so now you know where our wee EasiBug gets his name from.
